8 STEPS TO ELECTRIFY YOUR FLEET

Follow through the steps to electrify your fleet. Each featured step includes a comprehensive suite of resources from case studies to legislation pertaining to state fleet electrification.

STEP FOUR: ANALYZE FLEET DATA

Conduct cost and emissions analysis of various pathways to EV adoption to maximize progress toward fleet electrification goals. Analyses should take into account available models, fuel prices, electricity prices, charging equipment configurations, vehicle prices, vehicle ownership structures, vehicle miles traveled, and emissions of conventional fleet vehicles and their electric replacements.

States can take advantage of our free Dashboard for Rapid Vehicle Electrification (DRVE Tool), which provides quick and easy analysis for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty fleet electrification. The Microsoft Excel-based tool allows users to upload fleet data and then analyzes electric options and assesses the best fits for EV deployment within minutes. The tool is continually updated with the latest available EV makes and models.
